Lunes energético

Comenzamos otra semana con todo un clásico del rock, desde la banda sonora de la película Todo en un día del gran John Hughes. Meneemos el esqueleto y afrontemos estos siete días con entusiasmo y ganas. Debo reconocer que esa cinta es uno de mis indiscutibles iconos de adolescencia. Yo nunca fui como Ferris, más bien todo lo contrario. Rechoncho, retraido, tímido... Carne de frikerío, vamos. Llamadme Cameron, más bien, aunque sin la pasta que Alan Ruck tenía en la peli. Pero aún así me lo pasaba bomba viendo todo aquello que me gustaría ser y hacer en vez de ir al instituto. Y a pesar de la aparente superficialidad de todo lo que contaba, de ese aire de efímero producto teen que tan bien manufacturaba Hughes (recordemos El club de los cinco, sin ir más lejos), en su parte final la película se permitía una reflexión melancólica sobre los caminos divergentes que emprenderían los amigos del instituto y como la vida adulta se inmiscuía en esas plácidas existencias robando la ingenuidad y la alegría. Para desquitarse de ese tono, la película ofrece escenas tan eufóricas y divertidas como la del desfile, escena con la que aprendí a amar esta canción, en su versión de los Beatles... Señores, escúchenla si pueden en el Radio Blog, y dejen que sus pies golpeen el suelo rítmicamente, mientras piensan cómo les gustaría subirse encima de la mesa o coche o barra más cercana y bailar desenfrenadamante como si el mañana nos perteneciera y el hoy fuera una perpétua celebración de todos los ayeres buenos que hemos disfrutado en nuestra vida.
